Exploring Bister Inks -Thurs. May 6th, 2021, 10am-12pm, $35

This class meets once for two hours. If you’ve been hearing about Bister inks and wondering what the fuss is all about, then join me ‘live’ on Zoom as I demonstrate some different ways to use these rich and earthy ink powders. I’ll start with basic information about mixing them and then we will play with ways of creating bold background effects. Next, I’ll show you how I use them in a broad-edged pen to create lettering full of beautiful color blending. A basic block capital alphabet will be covered or you can use whatever bold hand you are familiar with.  All skill levels welcome.
