A Sharp Pencil & A Keen Eye - $65 (Two 2-hour classes 10am-12pm)

This Class will meet for two 2-hour classes on Wed. the 23rd & Thurs. the 24th of June. at 10am MDT both days.

In this class I'll demonstrate how to use the humble pencil as a powerful tool in creating beautiful drawn letters. Starting with basic drawing principles like line quality and shading, we will experiment with different tools to discover the marks they can produce. We will then move on to drawing letters and designing word groups. Drawing letters forces us to slow down and relate more organically to the forms we are creating while improving our design and lettering skills. Pencil lettering allows for refined and subtle attention to detail while still being a forgiving and gentle medium. This workshop is suitable for all skill levels.
